2009/2010 Calendars:
Tuesday February 16th 5pm - pre-comp and Competitive Mock Competition 5:00pm
February 20th - Chimo, PJ Invitational in Comox
Level II - Saturday 9:30 warm-up
Level I - Sunday 9:30 warm-up
March 5-7 - Paga, Mt. Arrowsmith Invitational
May 22-24th - Falcon, Garden City Inviational
June 12 & 13 - Powell River, Island Championships
Competitions:
Proper Attire: It is expected that all pre-competitive and competitive gymnast wear the proper attire to gymnastics. Bodysuit with gym shorts; hair must be tied up. Those not wearing proper attire will have to wear bodysuit provided
Board Meeting: Attending Paga board meetings counts towards commitment hours. If your child is a member of the Port Alberni Gymnastics Academy you have a vote.
Bingo: Pre-competitive and Competitive fees are subsidized by bingo. The bingo requirement of 4hours per year is a mandatory part of the competitive program. You can book your own time slot at the Casino with the Cashier.
Fees:
Fees are based on a 10 month season, starting the 2nd week of September until June. Parents may choose to pay the full payment plan or the fundraising amount. Fee schedules and explanations are in the 2009/2010 competitive package.
Payment of outstanding balances at registration
PAGA will accept 10 post-dated cheques of equal amounts for the 10 outstanding months (bearing the same specified dates e.g. 1st, 15th etc.)
Fee Reduction
You may also reduce fees by offering your help to the club in the form of commitment hours. Each commitment hour is worth a dollar value. There is a maximum savings based on the number of hours your child trains. Calendars to record these hours must be filled in by the Parent and turned into the office each month
